EVERYONE WILL KNOW I FILED

Only prominent businesses or personalities make the newspapers when they file for bankruptcy.

And, even though a bankruptcy is a public record, few will know.

I WILL LOSE EVERYTHING

Most people lose no assets when they file for bankruptcy. Almost everybody keeps their vehicles and their home. You will qualify for special exemptions to save your assets.

I WILL NEVER GET CREDIT AGAIN

Nothing could be further from the truth. Many of our clients receive credit card and other offers immediately after discharge. Used wisely, credit will be rebuilt soon.

I AM A DEADBEAT IF I FILE BANKRUPTCY

Most of our bankruptcy clients are good, hard-working folks, just like you. They have suffered a financial set-back and need a “fresh start” and relief from their creditors.

I CANNOT GET RID OF TAXES IN BANKRUPTCY

Some taxes more than three years old can be discharged. There are a couple qualifications that must be met, but once they are met the taxes are gone.

All Collection attempts must cease upon filing.

It is not difficult to file for bankruptcy if you have a qualified bankruptcy attorney.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY

Deuteronomy 15: 1, 2:

“At the end of every seven years, you shall grant a release. Every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.”

There was no analysis of debt or of income. Just forgiveness.

The Old Testament lenders were admonished to be merciful to those who owed them money, but debts were cancelled every seven years whether creditors liked it or not.
